He may not be getting any younger, but Duremdes is expected to be a big boost to the campaign of the Tigers this season.
The 1998 MVP played 41 games last season, averaging just 8.7 points per game, his lowest since norming 8.0 per contest during his rookie season. He suited up for 12 games for the Tigers after he was acquired in a trade from Sta. Lucia and as expected, he struggled with his game, averaging just 6.3 per night. But Favis expects the proud son of Marbel in Koronadal, South Cotabato to provide the leadership more than his offensive contribution to the team.
